At 8 Dyer Hotel, our modern 7-room guesthouse is tucked away on a quiet side street of one of the world’s most scenic and lively destinations – Provincetown.

A chef-owned petite hotel, we offer a complimentary gourmet breakfast daily either on-site, or at our casual brunch restaurant around the corner, depending on crowds there. We offer free parking on a shared basis, where we hold your keys and make your car available when you need it. Our comfortable rooms are outfitted with king or queen beds that surround relaxing amenities like our pool, dry sauna and indoor Jacuzzi. To see what amenities each room offers, see our rooms below.

Adult-Only Relaxation

Reserved exclusively for adults age 18 and up, 8 Dyer Hotel welcomes couples, singles, honeymooners and friends' getaways. We are a completely non-smoking and pet-free property.

When you are not enjoying our pool and Jacuzzi or gourmet brunch, you can wander Provincetown all summer long!

For the 2024 summer season, we are booking fast for most dates in June, July and August and Find your room by clicking the Book A Room button at the top of this page.

There is still limited availability for MemDay, Men of Color Weekend, Girl Splash, Family Week, Carnival and Labor Day. We are sold out for 4th of July, Bear Week 2024.

Reservations are available one year in advance.

ROOMS

All of the rooms at 8 Dyer offer en-suite bathrooms with shower stalls and are designed for up to two adults featuring either a queen- or king-sized bed. The penthouse rooms, Penthouse 2 and Penthouse 3, provide a private jacuzzi tub in addition to the en-suite bathroom with a shower. All rooms also have air conditioning and heating, a refrigerator, a television with directv and roku, and a wet bar.

Our only accessible room is Room 8 and it features a ground-level, direct entrance wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, grab bars in the bathroom, a roll-in shower with a seat, and assistive devices to alert those with hearing loss to emergencies.

As a chef-owned guesthouse, 8 Dyer Hotel focuses on providing our guests with an impeccable set of brunch choices every day. During the shoulder season and when our brunch restaurant Yolqueria is open, you may be invited to dine there on a complimentary basis. How to get to Provincetown

 
 

The Fast Ferry

A romantic and fun way to get to Provincetown is on the Fast Ferry which takes 100 minutes from Boston to the MacMillan Pier in Provincetown. Available from May 16 - October 20. We are so pleased to offer a 20% discount off of the fares at Boston Harbor Cruises. The discount code will be sent to you 90 days before you arrive, or you can email us after you book.

Cape Air

The fastest way to get to the 8 Dyer Hotel is the year round service from Boston to Provincetown on Cape Air, taking only 20 minutes. You may see whales on your flight over the bay, but regardless, it is scenic. Cape Air flies out of Terminal C at Logan Airport and on your return, you will have cleared security in Provincetown for all flights in Terminals B, C and E.

BUS/Drive

Our neighbor, John Waters, famously hitchhikes to P’town every summer. If you drive, we offer one parking spot per room. We also offer electric vehicles the opportunity to use our complimentary charger. You can also choose the bus or to drive. Both Peter Pan Bus lines and the Plymouth and Brockton bus serve points in the Northeast to Provincetown.
